LATE NIGHT | ABC Presents: Casino Times and Boogie Cartel

Don’t be fooled by the date of this next event, ABC take their party throwing seriously and April’s proceedings are no exception to that. After a good few months since the last one and with the hibernation period coming to an end they are chomping at the bit to get the ABC flag flying and deliver you an April Fools' showdown. This time ABC are heading back onto their own turf in Peckham.

CASINO TIMES

Musical partnership Joseph Spencer and Nicholas Church are avid music collectors and this is represented in their unique DJ sets which has seen them perform on Boiler Room, NTS Radio and Rinse FM. They have had releases on 2 of our favourite labels; Wolf Music and FutureBoogie and this has led to them playing all over Europe.

Those at ABC HQ have been biding their time waiting to get these boys behind the decks. Having watched them play on numerous occasions and never failed to be sucked into their world of house, techno and all things weird and wonderful there seems like no better time to get them behind the decks than on the brink of their album release.

With their new album due April 3rd on Wolf Music we are very excited to hear what musical offerings duo Casino Times bring to this close quarters gig.

THE BOOGIE CARTEL

Boogie Cartel parties go down as some of the very best we’ve been to & ABC are over the moon to have them come and play. With ranging record collections spanning disco, boogie, italo, house, funk and soul Shaun, Saul, Tom and Gary are a group of selectors we love every bit musical output from. Their latest release, ‘Late Nite Grind EP’ recently dropped on Trip City Records and is dance floor-focused, analogue heavy, boogie tinged house, finished with appropriately sleazy artwork.

They’ve shared billings with heavyweights such as Todd Terje, Greg Wilson and Basement Jaxx with 2015 seeing them take the reigns at the famous Horse Meat Disco at Eagle in Vauxhall. Oh, and they also played the closing set at the NYC Downlow stage at Glastonbury. For those who’ve experienced the NYC…..enough said?

For this one we are very excited to be showcasing Artwork from Stock LDN (http://www.stockldn.com) Expect a feast for your eyes as well as your ears.

See you on the dancefloor
