PNFF - Whiplash outdoor screening

Bought to you by the Peckham and Nunhead Free Festival, @The Nines and Electricpedals.

Bike-powered screening of multi-award winning Whiplash.

Screening on Wednesday 9 September, 8.00pm, outside The Nines, Copeland Park, 133 Rye Lane/133 Copeland Road, Peckham, SE15 3SN.

Whiplash (Dir Damien Chazelle, 2014, USA, Cert 15, 107 mins) is about a promising young drummer who enrols at a cut-throat music conservatory where his dreams of greatness are mentored by an instructor who will stop at nothing to realise a student's potential.

The screening will be followed by saxophonist Guido Sannocchi (to be confirmed), bringing sweet jive and jazz with his band of hot cats.

This is a low-carbon-footprint bike-powered event, courtesy of Electric Pedals. Bring a bike and help power the film or just come along and watch it. Refreshments will be available for sale.

Weather-permitting this will be an outdoor event so bring a chair or blanket to sit on and warm waterproof clothes. However if necessary the screening will take place inside.
